Pulse Records and Productions Ltd was formed in 1996 by brothers Rob and Alan Fennah. The company was set up as an ‘alternative’ to the major and independent labels (all five of them) they had previously been signed to.
The idea was a simple one; instead of the artistic restrictions enforced by these record companies, Pulse would own and control all the work they produced and give them the freedom to try out new ideas.
